I don't think the lemoned cars had the 5 year warranty and the can't be CPOed. For the first batch of 20 most sold to dealers at MSRP. I don't see the point of dealing with one if there are other cars available. All things being equal I would look for a 15. I doubt you will get enough discount to matter on a lemon '14.

Why would a buyback not get the extra year warranty? It's no different than any other 2014.

I agree. Find the 2015. You will be happier later. See farther.

How about a better question here. I like deals. I don't really care if the title has a buyback / brand on it if the car performs the same, and has warranty.

The question though becomes what is a fair offer for a car with a branded title?

There is a really sexy blue one in kentucky for instance at a price of $152,724 for 1547mi on the odo. So if one were able to get such a car for say under 100 then it would be the deal of the century.

So to guys on this site, what would you say would make it a deal you couldn't refuse even with a branded title?

I mean the main reservation would have if I bought the car for like 1xxK then decide to sell it with 20k miles in 3-5 years, will the car be worth 40k? Logically I don't see how that could happen especially how well publicized the engine problems were, and the fact I'm sure you get documentation from PCNA.

Dealers were/are selling the buy back cars for sticker or above. I doubt there is going to be a deal given the dealers know the buy back cars had to be bought back under the lemon law. Nothing wrong with the cars.

I passed ona lemon titleone recently. I'm just going to keep on looking. Not worth risking the resale hit. Right now the engine swaps are fresh in the minds of enthusiasts but in 4-5 yrs a buyer will just be seeing the Lemon title on the Carfax.

Zero discount for branded title. Demand is plenty strong. There is nothing wrong with the cars if the engine swap is 'the issue'...

You're right, a deep discount for a branded title car would be steal... these are GT3's...people know...and they won't forget.

That $125k white 2014 looks like a great deal! Almost $20k off of MSRP with only 2500 miles.
