what engine oil do you use?

I always dump the oil after the first 100 miles and send in for spectral analysis then refill with half 0w-40 and half 5w-50. I run it for 20 min and dump it again to make sure all original oil is gone and refill with 0w-40 and repeat every 1000 miles tracking the metals in the spectral analysis. I make sure to change the filter each time rotating with Porsche and Mahle brands comparing the spectral results and deciding which is superior at the end of 3500mi and I only drive the car if the outside temp does not exceed 70 degrees and never for longer than 1 hour at a time.
I am parroting another post some time back that was similar.... Found it funny and on point with some of the crazy oil discussions. Bottom line is Porsche knows better than us what its engines like. You can argue that but I'll just take Porsche's word on the matter.

Motul Sport 5W40 and 5W50 is a great fluid, protection for street use, but higher heat capacity with Ester base. Better than 8100 Xcess if you go to the track. We use it in our racing miatas and other "track cars" with great results. I use this and Millers Oils.

More or less track days within miles.
But I've gone longer and shorter, typically 6-10 track days just to see what the report would say.
Last change has 200cc oil added because it was a bit low, but no yellow light, "oil low".
Most oil changes before 12,000 miles had al least 100cc per track day added with the yellow light on.
Haven't seen it since.
Even with yellow light on, its 300-400cc max and that's just silly with 8-9 liters of oil in a dry sump..
