Jon, Scott and Paul hooked me up with my post break in oil change. I took some pics of vents for brake cooling I found very interesting.
I also found oil level is measured at >90 degrees and requires hook up to the machine that accesses the cars computer PWICI I think it's called. It asked for .5 quart addition. After addition it required one tenth of a quart removal. That is crazy accurate. No wonder people keep getting the over fill error messages.
Around 1450 miles after completion of Andreas P break in at 1K just incase there were any metal bits from reaching redline after 9k revs and a couple of launches. Next change per factory at 10k.
So how much quart did you put it in the engine after all?
Sorry, don't know precise amount filled. But, a 1/10 of a quart at precise temp and using piwis OBD requirement to avoid digital warning notices makes me think even changing the oil is a dealer required thing.

My dealer let me watch the process as well. The head tech, said the gauge in the car (at least mine) was very accurate. He said, just fill to a quart shy, then start and check the levels adding a 1/4 of quart at a time. The process is super easy. Easier than my TT. At least the Gt3 uses a filter and not a cartridge. FWIW, mine was delivered from the factory overfilled by a 1/4 quart.
I plan to change mine this Friday. I'll let you know the quantity for a fill. As tight as the range is on this car I would expect the oil temp and drain time will have more of an impact on proper fill than previous versions.

I changed the oil today at 1000 mi. The oil was up to 195F when the car was put on the lift. Drained for a little over a half hour. The manual lists 7.5 liters with a filter and I put in 7 liters of Motul 5W40 and connected the PIWIS. It read .1 liter over filled. I was able to get a 1/4" diameter piece of tygon tubing through the fill opening and vacuum out about 3 ounces. After that the car indicated plus 2 green bars.. Next change I'll subtract 3 oz/300 ml before filling.
I collected a sample for oil analysis. I'll post the results when I get them.

Thanks Alan. I tried to get tubing down far enough to vacuum out but couldn't get any oil out. How much tubing did you stick in there, and how did you get around the snags?
Changed mine today at 1875 miles. Interesting we put in 7 quarts and it got it exactly as manual recommends. One bar below max. Great place in west Houston, C & B European. Small shop focuses on German cars. Craig is a great guy and knows his Porsches. $ 37.00 plus oil and filter which I brought with me. Can't justify to do it myself. Dealers in Houston are asking $400. He showed me locations where caution is a must when unscrewing drain plugs.
That's a great dealer price! Oil and filter cost me $130. Which made the oil change just under $170. Don't understand how dealer labor on an oil change can be $270.
