Yes these issues do take the shine off the car. As others have said the car is so good I'm not even considering a lemon law claim. The good thing is I would not be driving the GT3 the last few weeks, I would be in my DD. Instead I putting miles on the dealer's Panamera S eHybrid.

Dealer said they need another day to figure out what's wrong and no loaner car available...

Expect to see tsb's from Porsche as time goes on. I hope I'm wrong. I'm troubled too.

I was hoping that they would have fixed all these with the 2015 model. But I guess the cars were off the road for so long, they didn't really have enough beta results.

I would not get too concerned. It appears it is happening to a lot of cars but it is not that many. Also; they will fix it and if Porsche ends to make a better thermostat ect they will do so and issue a recall for all to receive them. My 2011 Audi R8 V10 had like (3) recalls all for little things like this. No biggy.

Find a new dealer - they should be able to find you a loaner!

They said the complexity of the GT3 requires a few extra days. Although, I don't see how complex changing a thermostat can be... They did get me a loaner tho.

Cold weather trigers thise two errors.
It goes away once ebgine is fully warmed up and running hard. Engine control error will go away after a few lock unlock open door lock unlock cycle.
I dont think it is serious and needs fixing. I think it is just cold weather .

How is that possible?

Especially given that Porsche cold weather tests their cars. Extensively.

And it's not like its warm and sunny during the winter in Stuttgart.

See sandiegodavid's post titled "another bad thermostat" - according to his service people a new thermostat part / replacement has been released as of a day or two ago

Just FYI - My 2014 Gt3 did exactly as others... coolant warning, check engine. Took it to Hennessy. They fixed it in a few hours - parts were in stock.

I had a 2015 cayenne diesel loaner - what a great ride.

What's the chipped wheels issue?

So the thermostat issue is common? I thought GT3 was rock solid and trouble free.
