Just a passing thought, but might it be standard only on cars with ceramic brakes? We all know the stories about their fragility.

They're probably stripping them out during delivery.

Nah, the polygon CL tool doesn't do anything to safeguard the brakes one way or the other. I have ceramics but I'm almost certain Sam doesn't and we both got the tool. Now if we were talking about the wheel centering tool that might be a different story.

Before this thread was started I checked to see if I had it, I do. But I was wondering how I would approach it if I didn't. I could picture the dealer assuming that I was just trying to get another for free.

armbar the thought crossed my mine when inquiring about the missing tool
so far the SA has said he checked with PCA on the service side and they are saying it is not standard. the GM checked with PCA on the sales side they are
saying it is not standard. Now this is quotes from the SA at the dealership.
kinda makes you wonder

Well the SA just called back said he was shipping me a polygon tool no charge
should have it by next week. I think the reference to page 194 in the owners manual helped.
Thanks everyone for the input and pic's

Awesome. I also think the reference to your Renn-friends helped. Happy for you.

Glad it worked out for you. They can't argue with the manual.

Just another thing I'm adding to my list of what to check for at pickup.

That's good news! It should have been there. Dealer stole it. Mines a 15 and it was there.
First thing I did when I went to get the car was, show me the tool!
