I know. 50% (or more) of the board things personalized plates are cheesball, poser, stupid, etc. My rule has always been if I could come up with something fun and unique, that most of the public wont "get" but is specific to enthusiasts, I pull the trigger. I have gone with AIRKUL and NOH2O on my older Porsches, I had MEZGER on my 997.2 GT3. I may or may not do one for the 991 GT3, but just having some fun organizing thoughts for 7-letters...I like a play on the 9k redline, as something that makes this car pretty unique.

I just ordered the black/yellow heritage/antique California plates, but not knowing what car I'll be putting them on, I had to choose some generic selections.

My top three choices were:
DAB OPPO- Chris Harris
POWAAAR - Jeremy Clarkson
APICE - Apex, of the curve in Italian
JALOPNK - current plate on my BMW wagon

I'm guessing it has something to do with the letters "MF".

I could not help resist personalized plates for my GT3. I have never done them before but I did something simple: DIAL991

I am surprised by the attentipon it has gotten from other Porsche enthusiasts.

My Wife though thinks I am an idiot but hell - I lived with that stigma for awhile

My cars are normally broken in on the Nurburgring, so I have a few different plates:







NRBRGRNG,NRDSCHLF and GRUNHLLE have been used and will be again, but I have a few extras too,like HTZNBACH, FCHSRHRE, and KARUSSEL for other cars should I need them.
