Mileage on CUP 2's

My front is quite new and the rear is less than 50% on this video (I was just checking the track).
I will check my archives later, I'm pretty sure I have a good example of damp/wet capability of the car/tires.

Had to replace fronts at 5K due to damage on one from a rock. Rear has 9K now and will get 10K before replacement due to wear. I drive canyons runs hard in the turns with medium acceleration and medium breaking. Looking at 1g in the turns and .8 on breaking.
About 10% to 15% is maybe easy. I think that without damage on the fronts they would have gone 6K.

I don't have any data but can say that I usually get a 2 to 3 degree pressure increase on the front and 4 on the rear. At 9K on the rear I haven't been able to tell too much of a difference. It does seem that the rears are starting to loose a little grip but not much, or at least not highly noticeable.

For road usage they are enough. Only thing that can kill the grip is low temperatures. I had temperatures around 0°C once, I scared myself... I was going at something like 30mph... It seems dealers can get them no problem. The problem is when you try to order yourself. I don't mind getting them through the dealer since they always match tirerack's price. It comes down to installation costs, but I'd rather have the dealer do it. If they mess up your rims during installation they'll own up to it. I have had too many rims damaged by bad installers.

I got about 3,500 road miles and 650 track miles before the tires lost grip -- very noticeable on heavy braking. Probably about 30 heat cycles (20 -25 miles per session), but I don't measure tire temperatures so I really don't have a good heat cycle count.
