yes windshield is only a 70, rest is 20. It looks darker than it really is in that room.

man i cant believe they make you put a licence plate on the front. i would vomit. totally defaces the car.

I may have to take a trip to New York. My local Xpel/tint guy won't do a windshield tint because it is "illegal". Technically the 35% he's applying to the side and rear windows on my GT3 is illegal in almost any state.
I think adding a 70-75% tint to the front window would give it a more even look overall, but not impair driving vision.

That's too dark to be legal here as well.
I use it just for the heat rejection anyway. And have a guy who will do the windshield. The windshield tint really helps with the heat.
