I couldn't decide on a color, so I ordered this mini-spike tape combo pack to check them all out. Cheapest place I found for supposedly the same JVCC tape on Amazon. $13 shipped for 9 rolls.

What's the actual texture of the tape? Is it smooth? Textured? Felty/fuzzy like alcantara?

I've seen these. They are thick and textured. The stickiness is also just right.

I wrapped mine about two times around.
Really like this tape better than electricians vinyl tape that I used before.
It doesn't shift around and has a better texture.
The adhesive is perfect and the tape looks more like leather.
The color matches perfectly and it has some texture like Alcantara.
Although I have a leather wheel, it still blends nicely. It would look even better
on Alcantara wheel. Now if I could just get my annoying yellow oil (overfill) light to go out!
