If you exceed your tech speed (this is the max allowable speed for your class), then you're disqualified and I'm told you can be ticketed (haven't heard of this actually happening). There are radar checkpoints along the course and, naturally, you can't have a radar detector.

And the minimum and tech speed serve to reduce the chances of passing or being overtaken by another car, and thereby enhance safety, so I feel strongly they should be followed.

Believe me, if you want to go fast, there are plenty of places to do so on the way to and from the event that are *extremely* remote. You can drive 100 miles and see 2-3 cars.

gotcha. i understand it for over passing others . Im more interested in windy roads anyways. I'm fairly interested in trying something like this out . i don't want my 991 gt3 to go to waste on putting around and the occasional spirited drives.
