Got my VIN today and wondered if there is any correlation between sequential number and GT 3 production numbers? Is there an annual count or is it a cumulative count? Are multiple models in the count? The VIN should identify different models, what do we know? Gled

Well, I did some research and GT3 VIN and sequential is model specific. Porsche has dedicated aprox 3000 #'s for model year 2015. 82061 to 85000. My car is about 800 from the end, V300 12/12/14.

I highly doubt the 3000 #. it would have been if not for the months of hold period to sort out the engine issue. I am expecting 1400 to 1500 in total.

Speculation was that many for the U.S. alone. Most likely closer to 3k for the world.

Here is GT3 ID info. Can anyone confirm their sequential VIN number either at the beginning or the end of the series. Like I said before my v300 12/12/14(MY 2015) puts me 2200 into the production. Looks like it is world production for 2015. Gled
