I agree. Porsche has now followed through on almost all of the things we were saying that they could do to help restore customer confidence after the engine problem first surfaced; engine replacements, monetary compensation, extended warranty, special driving events for owners. Pretty impressive, IMHO.

Didn't get one either; the engine was replaced at the factory.

Based on all the confusion coming out of Atlanta; I would not be surprised if they sent this invite to many more than were supposed to receive. Funny though. Those that received, that may be should not of; I am sure now Porsche USA will take care of you all.

The first sentence of my e-mail read:

"As a highly valued Porsche customer, and in appreciation of your patience through the delivery of your 2014 Porsche 911 GT3, we would be extremely pleased if you would join us at an exclusive experience at our new corporate headquarters and Porsche Experience Center at One Porsche Drive in Atlanta, Georgia when we begin operations in the Spring of 2015."

Also, the bottom of the e-mail had a disclaimer that specifically referenced 2014 GT3 owners affected by the stop sale.

Did any 2015 owners have the same exact language (referencing 2014 the entire time) in their e-mails? Or did they thank you for taking delivery of a 2015 Porsche 911 GT3?

Mine says the the below, but it still has the same disclaimer I should have had a 2014 delayed. I was never part of the delay, and I ordered in May and delivered in October.

My email has the same opening except 2015 instead of 2014. The Ts &Cs state "..only available to original owners who ordered a model year 2014 affected by the delays incurred in calendar year 2014 due to our engine replacement program..."

Seems like there is basically two groups of owners out there receiving these invites. One for the 2014 engine replacement cars and the other for the buyers who ordered their cars and had to wait until production started up again thus waiting much longer than a normal order time period.

They need to include those delayed by the LWB as well. I am losing sleep with the delay...

Tim ,
The text is the same in my email as above with the exception
"delivery of your 2015"
the disclaimer at the bottom of the communication is the same
and I did have a 2014 build comm. # that got canceled and reassigned
a new Comm.# for a 2015 build
Hence I am a Cat "C" customer
recently had a really good call with Andrew Pine with follow up on that situation

I didn't get one and called PCNA and they are looking into why I didn't get one. I was a 2014 order that got delayed and pushed to 2015.

Just gusseting, but the 15 owners that were copied is most likely marketing to show how Porsche treats their loyal customers. The disclaimer could be a deal breaker for those that were not delayed but sure hope everybody gets to go. We shall see what they communicate in January.

Wouldn't that be nice? The track at Tremblant would be perfect for a day or two of fun. Either that or CTMP.

Anyone had a glimpse of Atalanta driving experience facility? Wonder how it compares to Barber?
