Default Lead Time for Porsche Financing

Does anyone know how far in advance of delivery on a BTO Porsche you can complete the Porsche financing application/approval? My GT3 was originally pushed back to March but just finished production on 12/18 so could be here as soon as the end of January. I like to get all of my ducks in a row well in advance - but I wasn't sure if there was a 30 day window or something like that before I could consider Porsche for financing. Does anyone know? Is there some time limit or is it just when the vehicle has a VIN?

Thanks for your help!

I believe it is done within minutes. My gt3 is due mid January so I am checking out alternate financing options for the best rate and least amount down.

They can do it the same day. It pays to have a secondary option for financing. I had good luck with Xcel credit union. They advertise in the Porsche Club magazine.

Sorry - my question is how far in advance can you do it? Not how long it takes (minutes).

Thanks!

I think all PFS approvals are good for 30 days...

DO NOT use Porsche financing. Or even dealer financing. You can do much better on your own.

Sounds like our cars might be arriving around the same time, which dealer?

Park Place. I don't have confirmation yet on the ship it is on. I did check and Chesapeake Highway has not left Emden yet so there is a chance I'll be on that one. Otherwise it will be the one after that.

What is your configuration/color scheme?

30 days. I would not recommend you apply for any financing until the car is at the dealership or about to arrive.

Park Place as well.

Mine has been sitting at the port since 12/12 and as of yesterday was scheduled to leave on 12/26. Not sure what vessel it would be on. My M5 was on the Chesapeake Highway so that would be ironic!

My build is Rhodium Silver/LWB/Red Deviated Stitching/CF Interior/PCCB's; yours?

Sounds like several of us are Park Place GT3s, at Emden, looking for a ride!

I find that usaa rates are easily beat, unfortunately. I have been a member 20 yrs and I love them. But I think several credit unions have better rates. I'm probably using Amplify at 1.59

I also applied at DCU.org. Rate is 1.49% for 65 months as long as you sign up for a checking or savings acct.
