Hey everyone. I just drove home my new GT3 yesterday. Next week she gets XPEL, clearplex, and window tint, so I haven't yet announced her coming out party.

I traded in a 2014 GT3 to get a new seat, and for new cosmetic options in a 2015. Everything looks perfect in my 2015 GT3 except the top of the gear shifter looks like the sides are covered in vinyl, maybe leather. On my 2014 GT3, this was covered in alcantara, which l liked, and looked special.

Can those who've taken delivery of a 2015 GT3 comment on what material covers the sides of the top of the gear shifter in their cars?

Uncertain if this matters, but I ordered the steering wheel in leather on both my 2014 and 2015 GT3s.

Ball of the shifter is alcantara in my 2015 the same as the wheel.

Me too. Now I'm debating if it's worth it to order a GT3 gearknob in the original alcantara from Suncoast for almost $700.

Flipped it for you. And yes, for 2015, the leather steering wheel comes with leather shifter and alcantara wheel comes with alcantara.
