Are there new options out there for getting a second set of 20's for, say, track use?

Last I checked there was maybe one HRE model and that was it...

Wheel vendors on the board... whatcha got?
BBS FI-R is the most bad *** wheel for GT3 on the market

I bet they would do a group discount if asked.
Yes that is considerably less than HREs or ADV1s.

To each their own, but I'm not sure if agree.BBS makes great wheels, no argument there, but the FI-R's are more about bragging rights than anything. I'd much prefer a tried and true E88.

Oh man these are truly sweet and sicker than the P43's in silver powdercoat I had on my 2008 997.1 C4S... I promised my wife no mods this time and I already have the dealer installing the Sharkwerks bypass pipe before I take delivery (which isn't really a "mod" and with oem muffler tips for maximum stealth effect haha!)

Forward me a name / contact info for whom to reach out to, would like to inquire about pricing

I wouldn't say so ... It's designed and developed by BBS Motorsport same as E88. It's very strong, incredibly stiff and light weight ... Yes it looks more modern but it has all properties of a race wheel. FI based wheels are currently being used in ALMS on BMWs.

E88 is not homologated for the street use. Each wheel is about 4-5 lbs heavier.

There is no doubt E88 is a classic BBS racing wheel but new kid is certainly not falling behind.

Have you confirmed your 20's as shown provide proper clearance for 991 GT3 PCCB rotors, calipers and rear control arms?

If so I would be very interested. Styling of the shown wheel is definitely nicer than Oz, Forgelines and HREs IMHO....

I will post weights specific for the GT3 tomorrow.

This application is a Howe TA2 Camaro (18x12), and includes the Ultralight option, Knurled Bead Seat option and ceramic black coating.

Take a look at Post #65 re: 19" wheel/rim options over PCCB's

https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3/...991-gt3-5.html

Found my notes on the comparative weight differences. The Forgeline 19's with front 235/40 x19 Cup2 came in at @ 42 to 43lbs each vs. @ 55lbs for the OEM 245/35x20 wheels and tires.
The maybe not most accurate bathroom scale showed the Forgeline rear with 325/30x19 Cup2's to weigh @ 47 to 48lbs vs. an almost new set of 305/30x20 Cup2's on OEM rims at 56-57lbs, so
as savings of @ 12 to 13 lbs per corner front, and @ 10 to 11lbs per corner rear.

No idea yet what, if any, effect the changes in tire widths, -2cm in the front, +4cm in the rear, may have on under/over or neutral steering.

Default O.Z.

I'm loving my O.Z.s. They are about 4 lbs lighter per corner vs. OEM. Some people don't like the lettering, but I think it looks more "motorsport".

Hi Dan,

Do you have pictures of these satin black F5 spyder wheels on their car yet?

Thanks

Cool wheel, but it looks like it could have been SO much more concave. Huge caliper clearance.
