Default GT3 stuck at Port

My 15 GT3 is stuck at Houston port, Kentucky Hwy arrived on Monday
car has not been released . my dealer is in Houston. i am 485 miles away
Dealer is expecting the car today
Should I be worried ? is there certain questions that I should be asking ?
Possible damage too the car?
I am starting to get pissed am I out of line in my thinking?
Yes I have been blowing up my SA phone since Monday even calling her on her day off

Don't worry about it and be patient. For many of us, it took 3 weeks for the car to arrive after unloading at port. 5 days would be extremely quick.

My car has been in Halifax since December 10th. Hopefully it's just a logistics thing

No worries. Mine was delayed d/t transport. I did get concerned when dealer expected it, and it didn't show. So I had my SA e-mail the port representative to see if there was damage. She e-mailed back stating no pre/post damage to report, delayed due to transport. Never hurts to ask for an e-mail.

Yes, it's just logistics. Mine sat at port for 4 days before being picked up then it took 13 days to transport from Halifax to Calgary.

Understand the frustration.

It took 3 weeks from the ship docking, to clear customs, clear PDI and arrange for the trucking company from San Diego to OC which is only 75 miles.

I've ordered several cars and this time it is a bit odd, but fact is the port and VW are telling the dealers nothing other than the cars have arrived. My dealer has a huge number of cars customers are waiting for. I've heard that there are just a lot of cars coming in before year end, so we all need to wait it out. I hope to see mine by Tuesday the latest.

The Houston port is 150 miles from my home. Wish I could just show up and take it home when it gets off ship :-(

Gt3 arrive at the dealer under transport with a lift, so availability is not as numerous as the rest of the fleet. You should all be prepared for two to three weeks from arriving at port to dealer. Mine was three weeks, being a 9 hour drive from port.

So still less than a week? Seems a little soon to get PCNA involved.

I would think the dealers want to get these cars on their books and sold this year. It may or may not affect their Premier status.

My SA confirms this. Because of the limited ground clearance of the GT3, they use a special truck rather than the usual car transporters for delivery. There aren't very many of those trucks - and that slows down GT3 deliveries.
