Thanks for the comments on the M3. It is not a factory EVO but does have a new 2.5 with BMW EVO block and all the go-fast goodies. I'll likely be selling the M3 in the next few weeks to make room for other toys.

BTW, The front of my GT3 is high because I left the axel lift on. After telling myself to not forget to lower before the pics...

Beautiful color, beautiful car. Glad you have adopted "the Beast" as its moniker--- that's precisely how I feel about it. A sure-footed mean *** beast. (Perhaps it's the black headlights that equates to the dark soul.)

Had a great day at Laguna Seca yesterday! Perfect weather for late December. Car is very fast, driver not so much :-) Managed a 1:44 on my second session. Didn't want to push too hard as first time with 911 on the track. My first session was cut short due to sound. 98dB at full throttle. Lifting "fixed" the problem but impacted lap times (and probably confused the traffic behind me).

Anyone know of some good turn down pipes?

Also, burned 1/2 quart of oil. Is that normal?

Steve, I don't know how I missed seeing the GT3 this weekend at Laguna. I was there on Saturday. Did it have any problems with sound?

I'd be interested in that as well.

Awesome photos by the way!
