Rear Wing
I would suggest that a windtunnel tune will tell all as to if the rear wing works and see how it works. Unless you have data on board you are guessing as to what the wing is doing. You very well have an Aero imbalance. Tunnel time availabe @ UOIT $1,400 per hr, 2 hr mininum. 1-2 cars can be processed in that time to get a base line and some correction, or aero balance can be achieved. Mantissport 905-844-6219

Three Wheelin'
He would not have gone through the expense for a $3,000 wing. He has great experience in the motorsports world, and made the wing for the GT America CUP car. I assume much of what is known comes from CAD testing rather than windtunnel.

Lowering the wing would reduce its effectiveness since it would be in "dirtier" air partially blocked by the rear window, and of course it would block your inside mirror's view through the rear window.

A wing from Wicked. Let me think on that one.

How will the Wicked vent on the bottom edge of engine cover, GT3RS style, line up with the vent on the top edge of the GT3 rear bumper, definitely think there will be a fit issue.

Sold my 991 GT3.2 - looking forward to 992 GT3. After 35,000 miles driving .1 and .2 GT3's,
IMHO they remain the most enjoyable Porsches in my 50 Years and 48 different Models.
I've kept the RS Size Crawford Wing I designed with Max Crawford back in 2014 which increased
downforce from 88 Lbs to 770 Lbs as measured by Porsche at 186 MPH. Of course you will never
see 186 MPH on any US Track that I've ever been on, so actual downforce will be closer to 77 Lbs
@ 60 MPH, 177 Lbs @ 90 MPH and 500 Lbs @ 150 MPH, my usual speed entering T17 @ Sebring.
All those figures are 8.75 X the stock GT3 Wing downforce.
The Crawford Wing can be swapped with the OEM Wing on 991.1 and 991.2 GT3's in 15 minutes
requiring no modifications. The 5" Wing Pylons include 12 bright LED Brake Lights on each Pylon.
In addition to lowering my Sebring lap times by 3 Seconds, it provides a clear Rear Window view,
eliminates High speed "Tail Wag" under maximum braking, and, most important, greatly reduces
the Snap Oversteer tendency complained of by many pro drivers that have caused expensive crashes.
GT3.2 with Crawford Wing
The Wing design has apparently changed on the 992, so my 991 Wing is available to any FL GT3 Owner.
Close-up of Carbon Fiber Crawford Wing
Wing, Endplates, Gurney Flap, Brakelight Pylons, GT3 Wiring Harness with Plug-In connectors
Crawford Wing reduced my Sebring Lap Times by 3 Secs
