Back then it had a E39 paint code, which Porsche has kept on that optional PTS as it color code to this very day. So PAG believes it's same formulation. 'Riviera Blue' was offered for several years in the 1990's & then replaced as a standard solid color by 'Turquoise Blau'. I believe it was MY1996 is when it was 'dropped' from the line up and replaced by 'Turquoise Blau'!

'Riviera Blue', from my personal observations, is either the #1 or #2 most often requested PTS color at Porsche today! From day one, it was always regarded as a beautiful & desirable color to have on your Porsche!

Riviera blue was also available for the 1944/1995 928 GTS.

Am just in love of both. Will get a Blue but would have had sleepless nights if I only new about this GO PTS color availability.

Thank you Eduardo for your comments. You are impressive and so knowledgeable about PTS.
I wish you had been my salesman.
