Couple options, apply something over the current door trim. Vinyl or paint over it. You can also order complete door panels with the desired trim as well.
You're correct about it being plastic welded and Porsche not selling them separately, but they still come out of the door fairly easily. You just have to remove the door card and pick away at the welded plastic from behind.

Did Porsche make a different yellow for the 991 GT3 in 2014 vs 2015?

As a few have posted here already, RY looks far better than in any of these picts shown here. I've seen a RY GT3 and it looks fantastic. I think it's truly special for the GT3.

So, does this car come with the extended range fuel tank or the customer/dealer forget to check that free option? Btw, what is the size of the standard vs extended fuel tank?
Not digging the colored interior trim pieces also...

Don't let that small detail stop any of you from buying this vehicle. You meet other nice Porsche owners at fuel stops all the time and it's a great way to get friendly with the locals.
