Default Black LED's

Wow, was just on the Canadian configurator and it now shows the Black LED's are now available. Just my luck, mine locked yesterday. Have already sent my SA an email to see what he can do. Can only hope.

If its anything like what we are getting in the states, you can't have it unless your car is being assembled in February.

I believe that's right. The information from my SA is that the last month of GT3 production for the Canadian (and U.S.) market is January and that the black LEDs will only be available starting with February production, so I think we're out of luck.

Sorry. Yes I did hear back just this week and as much as my V 260 says 02/06/15, my SA says that he is being told my build is still a January build, thus NO Black LED's for me. I would still like to know if anyone actually has a February production out there?

Sorry to hear that. I wonder if PAG has purposely introduced black LEDs beyond the timeframe for any possible GT3 builds then. Maybe they just don't want these on the GT3; you know, for exclusivity for other models.

They weren't introduced on purpose to not allow on GT3....it was more along the lines of GT3 just spilled into jan/feb production and now we would all like to have added them now that we see they are offered.

I think we've established that GT3 production for North America concludes at the end of January, but I wonder about the ROW.

Perhaps everyone else can get the black LEDs if GT3s for the ROW continue to be produced beyond January. Do any non-North Americans know?

That's simple. Go to the Porsche corporate site and click on the 911 "build your own Porsche" icon. The black LED's are avaialbe on all of the other 911 line-up. I would guess you can see them on the GT3 configurator as well

Unfortunately not...I'm told at this point they are not production ready for GT3 spec. period regardless of gt3 production date
