Just picked up my car with buckets.

Great seats, much more comfortable than I expected. Beautiful too. Only gripe is lumbar support. After 5 hours I really could have used some support in the lower back. I'll bring a pillow next time.

Do these seat adjust differently than the GT2 Sport Buckets in the 997 GT3 cars?....like do they adjust lower and higher as well as forward and back?

I have the GT2 Buckets in my 2012 997 Carrera GTS and I fit in them but I wish they sat a little lower since I am 6'5" 235lbs. My knees are too close to the steering wheel. Every 991 car with sofa seats I sit in I fit very well and knees are out of the way.

thanks!

I tried the LWB's today (thanks wwlee) and am glad I didn't get them. They're much too tight on my hips.

They raise and lower electrically, move forward and back manually.

Those buckts are surely beautiful and very light, but the 18 ways are super comfy and look good too...just depends on how long of a drive? For a DD 18 way all day long, but for track LWB

In my opinion, the LWB is a much better seat for DD and long road trips. Having cars with both, the LWB is closer to perfect. I think the 18-way seats are great seats, but they're too soft for my liking to be comfortable for too long.

The bucket seats in the 918 are less comfortable and more confining than the LWBs in the GT3. My shoulders feel pushed in in a 918, but 100% comfortable in a GT3 bucket.

Switch is on the door side of seat (driver and passenger) toward the front. Activation of switch moves the whole seat up and down with no change in seat angle. However the seat moves slightly forward as it goes up - allowing for finer tune of for/aft position in addition to manual for/aft adjustment.

Arent they the exact same seat except for cosmetic differences like piping .....etc

If they are the same seat between both cars then the shoulder area would be the same, thus the same feel.
