Here's a link to the site Nick posted those pages from for anyone who's interested.

http://www.atzonline.com/Article/119...e-997-GT3.html

According to Porsche, there have been improvements made to the system for the 991 GT3. For example, the article states a lift time of 4 seconds. Several of us have timed the lift in our cars at under 2 seconds. Of course, that's when it's working. I'm guessing RUF's current lift time is approximately infinite....

Sorry to hear that! Geesh. I have to agree with Rockitman with RS allocation. That would work!

Well...at long last, an update and hopefully a positive resolution. Long story short, after replacing the 'entire' lift system, and finding that it did not fix the issue, they finally isolated a leak in the system at the driver's side front strut.
The entire strut needing replacing, which of course, took 10 days to get from Germany, and THAT was with PCNA expediting the process....

The strut was replaced on Friday, and they are keeping the car until Tuesday to make sure they don't give it back until it is REALLY fixed.

PCNA has been very helpful in getting this issue resolved, and has agreed to adequate compensation for loss of use.

IF the car really is ready on Tuesday, it will nearly be a month in the shop for this issue...I've forgotten how great the car is. Hopefully, I will fall in love again soon....

It's good to see PCNA is taking care of you Stacy. See you on the February run in the GT3.

If you're eating **** and grinning, I think you've got a bigger problem than a malfunctioning axle lift

I'll show myself out now lol

But seriously, congrats on getting it back and resolved. Enjoy!

Nice to see your problems with the lift are behind you. Did they ever compensate you for the extended inconvenience?

PCNA has gone out of their way to get this handled and expedited as quickly as humanly possible. Was I frustrated? YEA. Did it seem like it took an eternity? YEP. But, ultimately, I could not be happier with the help and support of my Service Advisor at BH Hills Porsche (Jason Hallmark) and the guys at PCNA for expediting my case....
