Does anyone have any experience with Cantrell Motorsports and the rollbar they make for the GT3? It looks like a nice design. I wondering if their design will allow the bolt holes to line up perfectly without having to resort to winching/pulling http://www.cantrellmotorsport.com/in...ategory_id=398

Maybe we can get a group buy going? I'll ask them next week

No direct experience yet, but I think it looks closer to the OEM bar than what GMG has produced.

I've asked my local shop to take a look at all of the options, including custom building or importing an OEM bar. Will probably end up with either of those 2, but the Cantrell one looked promising.

There is no way to avoid welded joint contraction when these bars cool. Porsche can't even make a bolt in that doesn't require 2 people and or winch straps, wedging, ect to install. I suppose you can be lucky...but strongly feel a bolt in without any extra work to get things to line up is a pipe dream.

Looks really good, I'd like to see detail on how the main hoop is attached to the car.

Just as some feedback, Cantrell has done some exhaust/mod welding for me and it was
high quality, exactly as promised, excellent communication and shipping.
Highly recommended.

This Bar looks really good to me. Much more robust than others shown here. Fit is the only question. Maybe Cantrell can comment? Allan

That looks good, re-inforcement plates at the floor to support the main hoop.

Nice!
