GIAC tune has three programmable settings.
1. Stock
2. 93 tune street tune
3. 100 oct Race tune
So you can switch it to stock if you dealer is not cool.

Doesn't matter. If dealer plugs their computer into your car, they can see that the software is not stock. Warranty void! Gotta pay to play.

I think it has more to do with the fact that it is a subforum in the "Turbo Technical Discussion Areas". If it were a subforum next to the 991 and 991 GT3 subfora, it would surely see more activity. Many RLers don't realize the 991 Turbo subforum exists since it is in a completely different section.

There's something close to 90,000 posts (as of the time/date of this post it's well over 89,000). Even if we include cars produced, in production, and will be produced, it's still only somewhere around 1600 worldwide.
By comparison, the 991 911 forum has barely 94,000 posts, even though the number of cars in production far surpass the numbers for 991 GT3. Probably by a factor of 10?
Perhaps the outlier-like numbers for the GT3 forum has something to do with topical issues (engine recall, stop/sale, production ending speculation, etc.) or perhaps we're all just technophiles who should really be spending more of our time driving our cars, and not just talking about them.

That may be a part of it (the "sub sub" forum issue), but I also think that the 991 GT3 forum is disproportionately active in comparison to the number of cars in production.
