If you want to track ships, go to this website and just type in the ship name it provides lots of information as to where is is, when it will get to the next port etc.

fyi, there is a certain time when the ship leaves Emden to the US the satellite does not track it. Don't worry it has not sunk or taken over by pirates. There is a fee you can pay to track it when it goes "off the grid"
Happy tracking.

Three Wheelin'
Mine has been sitting in Emdem now for over a week. Should be in Cougar Ace although that boat seems to be delayed. I have heard (unconfirmed) than on occasion VW Logistics may use boats other than those shown on their schedule. In any event dates are still about a week ahead of initial projection. Looking forward to mid December delivery.

An update for those with cars at the Port in Emden, The Cougar Ace will arrive early am on November 20th. My guess with a lot of cars at port since the last boat left it will leave the next day.

The Cougar Ace has made its way to Emdem Bay and should moor tonite about midnight. Assuming it can load all its cargo in 24 hours or so then we are looking at a delay of a couple of days at best. Not bad!

What did people do before all this information was available over the internet?
On my first euro delivery in 83 I received a letter from the port in Jacksonville telling me the date my car would be ready to pick up. I was advised to call ahead as the time might change. When I arrived via a taxi from the airport I went to what looked like an old garage. Went in gave the guy my paperwork and about 10 minutes later my car showed up in front of the building. The only instruction was find a gas station quick as there was hardly any gas in the car. Then I got out my folded up always on GPS and headed home.
