I ordered black wheels but it was one of the options I debated. The wheel design is the best yet. I didn't want to obscure them, but the aggressiveness of black won me over. I would have preferred satin, but I can always have a satin clear coat applied later.

I had black wheels up to the last minute... but I worried that they would hide the beautiful wheels too much.. worried it makes the wheels look smaller...I was sold on black for a while, but ended standard... but cant go wrong either way, I think. I know you asked for black wheel pics, but here are the ones that put me over the edge on standard...

Concur pretty much. The wheels themselves I think do look best in the standard color. But for me the black wheels give the overall car a character and attitude, especially with white, that I really dug. It was actually a posting of that combo more than a year ago with PCCBs that triggered me getting on a waiting list. As everyone notes, though, pretty much any combo is gonna look great.

My car will be jet black and I also thought about black wheels. I chose standard wheels because it gave the wheels definition from the car. The wheels also looked smaller in black. I will buy a second set of Forgeline wheels that will be black though.

Interesting...I never really thought about any perception that the wheels would look smaller--maybe just the particular pics I was looking at . I saw a few live and didn't really get that impression, maybe because photos sometimes have a compressed grey scale. If you have the PCCBs, you also get those bigger front calipers which I think would probably offset any such affect.

In my humble opinion, black wheels against most GT3 colors (not all) look appropriately hardcore for the character of this car.
When the RS comes out with black wheels in a couple months, watch how many guys with platinum wheels will have theirs shot black! Why not have the factory do it now and save yourself the hassle...
