Default Sport Chrono questions

My order locks next week and I need some info to help with the SC or no SC decision.

First, does the GT3 Sport Chrono include any performance related features? On my 981CS, it includes "Sport" and "Sport Plus" switches which invoke different states of tune.

Second, has anyone actually used the "Track Precission App" that comes with the SC option? Thoughts... impressions? The App that came on the 981CS has been pretty worthless.

Third, if the track app is good, can it be added by the dealer without the SC option from the factory? I don't really care for the clock.

Thanks in advance!

There is no performance advantages on the new GT3's with SC. I didn't order my 15 GT3 with the Sports Chrono
not a fan of the clock. from my past experiance with SC never used it.

No performance change. Track ap is only a 2015 option and first 2015s just now arriving. To my knowledge no reports of impressions posted yet. The software is listed in the techquipment catalog which implies it can be added but not aware of anyone doing so. For the price I concluded AIM solo DL and Smarty cam would be better. Good luck.

The track ghost feature will make you faster on a given track. That is a performance enhancement...

Download the 2015 GT3 Owner's Manual PDF from the post by reidry, and check out page 126 for more on what is involved with the "Track Precision" app.

So do the transmitter (lap trigger) and receiver come with the car?

Good question. Maybe one of the folks who has just taken delivery of a 2015 GT3 with this option can comment.

It doesn't add any performance, just the clock and expensive software.
