Default New build

Great forum, been reading for several months. Postings resulted in my changing several items including getting the lightweight bucket seats, sounds like you all saved me a lot of regret on that!

Car will be a DD for the most part, parked for rain or undesirable trips (ie to go watch a Hockey game). This is my first P Car

January delivery build includes

Jet Black Metallic
Leather Interior with platinum stitching
Leather Steering Wheel, Visors
Extended Interior package, Door panels in Leather
Brushed Aluminum
Pedals and Footrest in aluminum
Sound package plus
Black Wheels
Nav Module
Plus the free items

Couple things I went back and forth on but ended up opting for:
LED Headlights
Lift System
Auto dimming mirrors
Light Design Pkg
Door sills illuminated aluminum
Clear taillights (and ordered clear sides markers from Suncoast)
Sport Chrono (I like watches so I like the look)
Sirius

MSRP for the build $156,865

Deciding factor was what I like, in the end I liked these items but get the reasons why some don't. Dropped a few items too in the end. Probably toughest decision was color, so many are great. Almost went Dark Blue but stuck with the black met. Can't wait to get my new ride, I know it's going to be great. Cheers

Nice Build, Color was the toughest for me as well.

Good choice on options. Always thought yellow gauges looked good in a black car.

The extended door panels in leather have been discussed several times. The full leather interior adds the brushed aluminun, upper door leather and alcantara insert on the door panel. The extended door let her option only adds the little cupped area by the air vent and the end cap near the door opening. Neither is very impressive. You might consider adding the extended dash instead which puts stitching on the dash and covers the last inch or two up near the windshield.

Live n learn for me, build locked so I'll have to love it as-is. I'm sure it'll be great regardless. Look forward to this sitting next to my other GT, I think it'll be a great pair

I did, December 31 2007. Not kidding! It's a no stripe Tungsten, had 1400 miles. 3500 today. Looking forward to driving the GT3 a lot more than that.
