I have seen this car in person and it looks pretty awesome......I think it's the perfect weekend warrior/track car.
I am actually looking for one to convert with all our GMG products for the GT3 and then take it out to Thermal to compare it's performance over a stock unit.

Interesting track. I spent a day with BMW experience there recently. Much better than I anticipated. The track itself is first class and the facilities, while under construction, seem to be first rate as well. With BMW building a 35 acre driving school/experience site on the premise the future is bright. However the lots are quite expensive if you go the whole experience and have place there, especially if the zoning remains that you cannot sleep over night on the property...

My neighbor is building that track. Took my 458 out there when the first 1/3 of the track was done. Went out recently for the BMW event and I thought the second 1/3 would be done but it was a couple of weeks from being finished. Think the re-zoning will be great. Looking to put a four member LLC together to join sometime next year. Going to see if Tim might let us do a GT3 event out there. Track is wide with plenty of run off area. Looking forward to seeing the models when they're done. If anybody is interested in joining a LLC for membership (saves $35,000 on initial membership) or wants a current update, just pm me.

Thermal is having their innagural Thermal GT Invitational this Fri/Sat allowing all licensed racers to bring their GT/GTS car for some fun racing.
We are bring our client's cars out for the event (GT3R, WC Cup Car, RSR, BMW M3 as well as our Audi's and Lambos on display for race/rent/sale....should be an awesome event with the Pirelli Driver's Cup also coming to race.

Thermal will definitely cater to the extreme car enthusiast and racer as it will be one of the premier tracks in North America....will all the amenities of a high end country club, but instead of golf, it'a all about taking your car on the track to enjoy all that it has to offer. We tested an early 991 GT3 there and it loved the South Palm circuit as it had a bunch of hairpins that allowed it to scoot off the corners very well and inch away from the Ferrari/Lambos that were their that day..

If any of you want more, detailed information, I am happy to pass along recent pics, specs, lot info, etc.....
