various reports from numerous sources claim GT3 production will finish with December 2014 builds
likely from allocation already dolled out to dealers, no word on a 991.2 GT3 build as yet

Or does it mean that 2015 991 GT3 production is finished, period? If so, does that mean that the rest of us have to wait for the 991.2 GT3 in a couple of years?
I believe they are making 2015 cars now. Mine is a 2015 and will be delivered in Dec 14. I was told by my dealer that this will be it for all 2015 991.1 GT3 as they are gearing up for the RS. There are still changeable slots available for Dec/Jan delivery in NY dealers.

Another data point from my premier Porsche dealership that there is no production after December.

Porsche is pushing them out fast now.

Does anyone have the final 2014/2015 totals?

Does anyone know a dealer with an allocation for 2015 model? I've called three dealers so far and no luck. One did have a car coming, but it was already locked and didn't have the lightweight sport buckets. That's the only must have IMO. Thanks-

Newport Beach porsche has 1 buildable allocation and rusnak has 2 as of end of last week (both in southern CA). I looked into getting one, but the timing is not right for me now. I will get a gen 2 gt3 if they make one or a lightly used one in a year or 2

This is probably incorrect- at this time Porsche has not decided on production amounts past the calendar year 2014. I'm guessing they want to gauge interest in the upcoming RS release before committing to how many GT3's they build.

That being said, as of now ( 8:30pm pacific time) there are only a little over 80 remaining GT3 changeable allocations in the entire US, at all dealerships. That is NOT a lot of cars for 202 dealers...

It is obviously just speculation, but personally I think this is the time to snag the GT3. I have a hunch the RS's are going to be VERY hard to come by... I have heard rumours that a LARGE portion of the 918 buyers are planning to exercise their VIP status to secure orders before even the dealers get them. There is a good chance that many dealers will have only 1 allocation or none at all.

You wouldn't happen to have a list of any that are left in Norcal? Still in hunt for one but so far am coming up dry.

You can order one from out of state and ship to CA.

Changeable is different from available. I have a changeable one. That said, fremont might still have one. Ask for Vinny.

Yep, understood. Probably nothing actually available. Fremont doesn't have any left. They do have one unclaimed one being delivered shortly. But they are asking 20K over MSRP.

Thanks to the connected folks on this board, I found a couple of changeable MSRP allocations within hours of posting. I know of one more that can be changed if anyone is looking.
