Default Dunlop / Michelin on 991 GT3

I was just wondering why there are a lot of new 991 GT3's are being delivered with Dunlop tyres. Mine got delivered with the Michelin PSC2's.

Anybody driven both? What were your impressions?

Thanks,

H

I think there is a previous thread on this already, iirc.
Dunlops supposed to be just as good and a little better in wet. Michelins look better. That's what I remember.

can only speak to the same dunlops that came as OE on my AMG black series... apples vs oranges obviously, but on that car I loved them, sticky, responsive, etc... better than Michelin? on the street in the dry I don't think so...

I haven't tried Dunlop yet, but on paper, cup 2 lasts as least twice longer than Dunlop

how do they look better?

also i noticed that on tire rack it mentions the rim width range for the michelins as 10.5" - 11.5". whereas the gt3 rear wheels are 12 inches.

seems you could go with a wider tire if you wanted, like a 315" or even a 325"?
