Great review on the options. I went back and forth on the lift, but ultimately passed as I couldn't justify the steep cost and never felt I needed it on my 997 RS (I understand the 991 has a lower front fascia and is more prone to scraping). My only second thoughts on my locked order are the black wheels which I ordered. I standard finish is great and the wheel design is so perfect that I can't see ever wanting a set of aftermarket. The black hides the design a bit. Lastly, I somewhat regret not getting a set of custom illuminated carbon sills. I may get a set of carbon sills from MAcarbon once my car arrives.

What color and interior options did you go with?

A few days before my order locked, I switched from dark blue to agate. For interior I went with: carbon buckets, leather, red stitching, red belts, light design, anthracite aluminum trim.

Nice write up. I like your succinct, even abrupt, style.

Again, nice pics showing details.

Default Das Schild

I didn't realize my 991 C2S front trunk was different than the 991 GT3. I assumed my trunk liner and Das Schild, "hood protector," would work. The hood protector worked, but I had to order another trunk liner. I installed this the first day, but just got around to posting the photos. It take about 5 seconds to install.

Default Light Design Package

Alright all. I suck at taking low light photos, so this is the best I could do. You get a LED in the front trunk. There are the two that are overhead in addition to the switchable dome lights. The lights in the foot wells are only on when you first get in the car. The lights in the trays in the door under the speaker and in the closable compartment stay on while in motion. You can only see them if you put your hand into that area. I didn't get a photo buy you also get lights above the speaker grills in the rear. There is no rear foot well lighting or any other rear lighting. In my opinion SAVE YOUR $500 BUCKS!

I've noticed you have the Frunk Liner. I assume you got it from Suncoast? Is it worth the $170?

I do have it. I think it is. It really makes the front trunk look finished. Otherwise the carpet gets a little funky.

I think he's a site sponsored too. Use their website or try to find his username here on Rennlist and he might even give you a Rennlist discount.
