How many miles do you think the Alcantara wheel will last before it looks pretty trashed?

They'll replace ONE under warranty if they like you.

Well after some thought I went to change my order to leather as it was not suppose to lock until the 17th but got this back from the dealer...

Hi Eric,
Here is the good and the not so good. First the not so good your cars build is locked I am unable to add sport steering wheel in leather. The Good news is your car is in preproduction your car is on the line.

I said the good outweighs the not so good!!....Guess I'll have to live with the alcantara....first world problems

I had the leather wheel selected until the very end. Then I got sentimental and switched to Alcantara since it is part of the GT3's heritage. If the Alcantara lasts four or five years that's probably fine. If it wears much quicker I would assume that its a warranty issue. I agree with shapiroeric - first world problem!

Could always go with Alcantara stock and then replace with leather down the road if it wears out earlier than expected.
