GT3 RS Unveilining at LA Auto Show now, Perhaps!?

Burning Brakes
As a Native Angeleno and knowing that L.A. Is the hot spot in the world for sports cars, I really hope it is the LA Auto show. Southern California for years (dont know if it still holds true, but I believe it is) has been Porsche's #1 market and helped keep Porsche alive during some pretty lean years. It would be nice to have Porsche "reward" their #1 market by giving us the honor of dropping the RS on our show. Not to mention, not only is there a huge automotive media presence here, but the strongest overall media presence anywhere in the world. Big vote for LA Autoshow for me!

I received the following information today from a reliable source at Porsche:
Last GT3 production January, 2015.
Retool for GT3 RS production starting April, 2015.
As far as members of the GT3 Action Group are concerned, Porsche feels that they have taken care of the 2014 GT3 owners. Previous discussions with Porsche about the Group receiving a "golden ticket" (aka GT3 RS allocation) will not happen.
Oh well. It was a nice dream for awhile. Guess I'll have to get one the old fashioned way.

First deliveries will go to 918 guys who opted for the RS as well. Deliveries to North America in June/July 2015. Deliveries in Europe in April - 6-8 weeks later for shipping to North America.
