Default Iphone 6 and PCM

Since I got the iPhone 6, PCM has not been working well with the phone especially when connected with Bluetooth and try to answer a phone call or talk during a call PCM just won't connect the call. It shows my phone connected. I can listen to music through AUX Bluetooth no problem. But no phone calls

Supposedly the issue has been fixed in 8.1. It should show up any day now.

I was able to pair my iPhone 5s running iOS8 with my 997.2 911 but cannot pair iPhone 6 with either my 997.2 or my 991 911s. The problem is not limited to Porsche, as BMWs have the same issue.

Apple supposedly did not change much (if any) with Bluetooth under iOS 8. Porsche service advisors are at the mercy of Porsche to release a software/firmware update.

I have IPhone 6 Plus and it works just fine.

Edit: wife just told me her iPhone 6 also didn't connect via Bluetooth in her C-Class.

Must be a 6 issue. Weird.

Edit #2: I just tried my wife's iPhone 6 on my PCM and it worked fine. Even made a call.

Not sure about your timeline 8.1, as I've heard 2-3 weeks, at best. Let's hope it can happen at Apple's end, so we don't have to wait on the car manufacturers to accommodate 8.0.2.

My iPhone 6+ calls work fine but I can no longer control music apps from PCM (volume, skip, etc). I have 8.0.2 and apparently this is a widespread problem, not just for P-cars. It will eventually get fixed, maybe the next PCM gets Apple CarPlay built in.

Is this possibly a carrier issue? I am using AT&T and I don't have hands-free on any of my cars with iPhone 6 running 8.0.2. I find the inconsistency very strange. I even deleted my old devices, thinking that was causing a problem.

I have an AT&T iPhone 6 with 8.0.2 and am having the exact same problem in my 991 C2. It worked fine with 8.0.0. Just another data point. I'm just now surfing around trying to find information about it...

The solution I found was to "Reset all settings" then delete and re-pair your phone. That solved my problem for now.

Did a search and couldn't find a solution. iPhone 6 with 8.4 software having problem with volume to caller, they cannot hear my conversation but I can hear them fine. I can place and receive calls and the rest of usage seems to work fine, what am I missing?
