What I like about the SW bypass... save weight, throatier note and louder w/o messing with emissions, the sport exhaust button/valves ect. Easy to put on or back to stock. I will wait until I get the car and do the prerequisite break in first. Lol

Never been a fan of aftermarket for Porsche, but I have wondered that if it were not for strict European sound level laws there would have been no factory center muffler on any 997 or 991.

If you like the factory exhaust and you want to keep the same sound but just want to turn the volume up a bit when the PSE is activated the SW Bypass is the way to go. Simple to install, no drone, and it is very light if you are a fanatic about weight saving.
Now; there are some very good aftermarket full exhaust systems(Cats, side muffler ect). But they will run you in the $5500-$7000 installed. Your lucky to push out an additional 12 -15 hp and you do run the risk of a warranty void but Porsche has been pretty good about after market exhausts but they will clobber you with an ECU tune. A full after market exhaust is some thing I might consider but "Mooty" is right; for all that extra money you do not get a whole lot more.
