Bump Steer - Question

Bump Steer - Question
Got my GT3 early Sept., currently 1300 break in miles. Previously had 997.2 C2 S. I seem to notice more steering deflection with uneven road surfaces than I did with my Carrera S. Wondering if this is a function of the electric steering, or do I have an alignment issue? Appreciate any thoughts suggestions.

Others may have a more precise view, but it's likely a combination of:
1. Different factory alignment settings (more negative camber and differences in toe and caster settings)
2. More sensitive steering & suspension system transmitting more information and feedback to you from the road + 20" rims w/ ultra low-profile tires transmitting more info
3. Unlikely an alignment issue at only 1,300 miles.

You have to bear in mind this is a GT3, the geometry is more aggressive than the standard model. The increased camber will mean the steering will tug, especially if there is a crown in the road.

No problemo. I cannot find the factory alignment specs, but suffice it to say, that I'm pretty confident that the GT3 will come out of the factory w/ slightly more aggressive / track-oriented settings. Downside is DD / road-going twitchiness and sensitivity, but the upside is better wear patterns for tires on the track, better turn-in, and better traction near the limit (i.e., negative camber to allow the tires to set flat in hard cornering vs. running on the outside treadblock).

Quickshift, sorry to side track the thread, but any chance you could post some pics of your car; I really like the red decal vibe. I haven't seen that before.
