Wow, a track car convertible....next they'll be putting child seats in the back? Seriously I might consider one then!

The F12 in a ragtop is what would get me excited. 458 or GT3 would be, meh....

Even the C7 Z06 went convertible. Like I said in the other thread, the drop top track oriented cars floodgate is now open: Superleggera/LP-570 Spyder, Speciale A, Z06 Convertible, and I'm sure more to follow.

I think that is what the GTS is for. I doubt they will do a GT3 convertible

Porsche is part of a conglomerate.. There are many "aggressive convertible track car" oxymorons in that vw portfolio from other brands... Audi r8 gt convertible, Bentley super sport convertible, Lamborghini super trofeo Spyder... And on and on... Porsche is allowed to follow it's own ethos a bit and not create an absurd vehicle like a gt3 convertible. Anyway.. There is already the turbo a convertible.

The only one I can think of, is possibly a very spartan spider version with gt3 engine... But even that would be gts derived.

Let's hope the blasphemy we are discussing never happened.

Never happen. WHY? Porsche already makes a car that is the result of taking a car stiffening it up, then cutting the top to undo all that. Why put all that performance in a chassis you are going to chop? It dont make sense. IF you HAVE to have something like that, Porsche makes a Turbo Cab. I am guessing they take enough crap for compromising on that model. It would be the same as putting fenders on an open wheel car.
