No Roof Bump If No Satellite Option?

I'm inclined to remove the Sirius option to keep the wart off the roof. It's too bad that they didn't put the bump just above the spoiler like on the Turbo S I saw the other day. Much better location...

didn't get sat radio, specifically because of the bump/wart, and for me ipod is best for my uses anyway - both for music and news podcasts, etc.
if this car was a daily driver, I would definitely get it... talked to the dealer about resale, his feeling was that on a gt3, you could go either way without it causing problems later...

Are folks really passing on satellite radio on daily driver GT3s because of the cosmetic bump? I could see it on a weekend or track car, but daily driver too? I'm so torn.

While I'm not a huge satellite radio guy , I probably would have gotten it but for the wart. Don't like the looks of it at all. If I loved satellite though I suspect I would have gotten it anyway.

I did not get it because of the wart, but mine is not a DD. If it were a DD, and I really wanted Sat Radio, I would probably buy a portable unit for $350 and plug it into the Aux port. I dislike the wart that much.

I thought originally I would want satellite radio, I have had it my other cars for 8 years. Then I realized the wart issue. After much thought I tried the streaming radio off the cell phone, like Pandora. As the others have testified the sound reproduction and quality is a HUGE improvement over sat radio, I didn't know what I was missing. I have been using the streaming radio for a week now and will never go back to the sat radio. Selection is better, easily varied, and the music reproduction is superior. I also was concerned about reception as my cell phone does not pick-up in a lot of areas very well. That proved to be a non-problem as Pandora came in loud and clear with no reception break-ups through the worst areas I normally experience for cell reception. The only issue is that it is only partially controlled through the radio head - I can live with that, though I ordered the "online services" option and hope that issue may improve. Thank you all on the board who encouraged the steaming radio through the cell phone!!! GT3 ordered, no wart...
