Default Painted sills

Anyone have a clue if the optional painted sills are covered with Porsche's textured finish like the rockers?

3D on the configuration offered no indication either way.

Anyone know if other models; i.e. turbo, with painted sills have a textured finish?

This option is nw for MY2015 gt3s.

I was told they would have a protective coating below on underside but the way they are designed you would see none of the "rock guard" finish, but that option just look a bit odd without the front splitter and back lower section also painted to match on the lighter colors? I opted not to add them but I have white so it maybe stands out more?

It looks odd to me as well unless you were to paint front and rear lower lips.

Thanks, much appreciated.

Agreed. I was struggling with the lines being upset as well. And, I never want the lip painted even if I could. It'd be damaged in minutes.

Yes I was thinking same thing....first time (even with front axle lift) I scrape the front splitter if it was painted it would look like a horrible paint cracked mess, like shattered glass!

I think that black accents like lower lip and sills are what give the gt3 it's racer look.
