"Backdraft" leaves Emden tomorrow!!!
My car is likely to be on the Florida Highway which pulls out of Emden tomorrow. I'm giddy!! Can't wait to track the ship into Brunswick. Just a few weeks left.

Just got confirmation that my GT3 is on the Florida Highway, pulled out of Emden earlier today!!! I also got a call from my dealer that there was a GT silver GT3 there and I needed to come see it. I b-lined it over there... GT Silver is EPIC. It looks so perfect and quite a deviation from the rhodium on my 991S. Darker and richer. I was taken aback by it - absolutely perfect!
Great day!

Congratulations! Your car is on its way!
Thank you, you have just made my day. Im so glad to read about your impression of GT Silver. Darker and richer than Rhodium is exactly what I am after. So glad I've chosen it.
Just lovely!!
What interior did the car you saw have? And was the car with steel or pccbs? Questions, questions!

The car was in service at Hennessy. It had platinum stitching and pccbs. Mine is steel brakes and red stitching. Guys. Gt silver in the flesh is UNREAL !!!

I went by Hennessy around 6:30 yesterday. The car had been delivered earlier in the day. Sean, I know you were considering GT Silver for a while so I am particularly enthused by your assessment. I flip flopped between White, GT Silver and Agate Grey a couple of times. I like Agate a lot, but the GT Silver Turbo S at Hennessy kept calling me. I agree that you have to see the color in person. Pictures don't do it justice. It looks like liquid metal poured over the the car. I did platinum wheels, black PDLS, steel brakes, red stitching and red belts. Add a mild tint and my monochromatic monster is complete.

Make sure you post pictures of your new baby when it gets here!
I was thinking, sometimes what is an error in production (i.e. swapped motor)
can be in the long term a very valuable item! It may be that the 2014s will be very valuable in the not too distant future for their uniqueness.
It even has a certificate of authenticity to boot!
Remember this? Very very valuable!

Sean: I think there's a very good chance that our cars are bunk mates on that ship. My dealer said he was showing a 9/19 departure from port. I know you will make me a little jealous w/ the GT Silver; however, I'm pretty confident that once behind the wheel, thoughts of color indecision will fade quickly. If I could have 2, I would've gone GT Silver too. Look forward to checking yours out in Atlanta soon!!!
Just a few more weeks. I'm driving my boss' 599 GTB (Silver) this week to tide me over for a little bit.
