That's wishful thinking!

Why? do they require the tires to come back with a certain amount of tread on them?

Macca did his Euro delivery in January I believe - he left the factory on the MPSCII. I've never heard of Porsche giving an extra set of tires, unless this is something new.

no way that will happen unless we are charged for them in the invoice.

Put PA 4's on it from October to march Canadian winters are rough but when the snow is low it's time to go. You will enjoy the winter drive and trust me the car will appreciate it.
My oldest p car is an 87 1/2 951 turbo in black. No rust no corrosion. Don't sweat the snow.
Gravel and rock chips will be your greatest concern but it's still worth it to drive when you can windshields in p cars At least for me have been surprisingly resilient to winter rocks .
The only one I have lost is on my 07 gt3 .1 that got a big smack from a Ferrari I was following to close to in a construction zone. Serves me right. I should have passed him when I had the chance! And that was in spring not winter. So just drive and enjoy.

Was quoted 3700 per corner for rims and yet a set of factory rims and fresh tires for a gt3 was 8000.00 CDN if your buying a second set of rims it's obvious which way to go. FWIW was told its 120 bucks to swap over the rims includes resetting the tire sensor. I thought the gt3's "learned" new tires when installed on the cars. Can any of you track guys comment about changing rim tire sets out. Not trying to change the topic but am curious?

The sensors are mounted to the wheels, so they are installing new ones that do need to be initiated immediately following install. This is typical with all TPMS systems.
