i forgot to pull out my PTS that probably isn't going to happen... without it, I am at around $158k, with axle lift, so that makes sense

I agree the extra options I got don't add anything to performance but when I get into the car the small details like the leather dash, Carbon Fiber trim and yellow belts remind me I am in something special.

I saw another GT3 the other day with the standard dash and for me personally it was def worth the extra $$.

If next GT3 is forced induction I plan on keeping this car forever

Agreed.

Full leather; dash, doors, etc. is a must, imo. i optioned my last gt3 with it and too. pccbs are what they are. i want them on this car. buckets = no brainer for me. rest is fluff, but has aesthetic value to me.

On the configurator, I still can't figure the leather options. If I click the $8k sport bucket seats, does that get me the nice stitching and leather on dash? Or do I still have to click more? I don't really care about having the door trim or the full leather option that adds leather to EVERYTHING. I like the idea of a middle road option where the dash and a couple other things are nicely leathered and stitched.

The leather dash and deviated stitching are additional options under the Leather Interior section. You must select each independently. You may also want to consider the leather steering column. This, along with the dash create a very complete look.

Is it just me or did I lose my ability to go in reverse now without the reverse camera option.

It does not help that every one of my cars has had reverse camera in last 5 years and the wing on the car blocks half the visibility. Let's just say I think I have become highly dependent on the reverse camera.

The rear view visibility was just as bad on my aventador but at least it had the camera.

I can't imagine the reverse camera adding more than a few lbs why on earth did Porsche delete this option in the name of weight savings?

I'm sure someone will chime in with "you aren't a real man/driver if you want a sissy thing like a back up camera" or some such drivel, but I agree 100% with you. That, the center locks only and no ventilated seats option are three reasons I didn't bother begging the dealer for an allocation and am getting a C4S with X51, reversing camera and heated/ventilated seats.

Ok fine I admit i am a sissy and not a real driver but I have been handicapped by technology.

I wonder if there is a way to retro fit so it works with the factory PCM??

You did get it that I completely agree with you, right? We have had back up cameras on my wife's car and my PU since 2008. Huge safety/convenience factor.
It's one of the reasons I traded my 981S, since at the time I was told there was no way to retrofit a camera to the PCM without "warranty issues". I would hope that's changed by now, but I don't know.

then what do I get if I just click the $8k bucket seat option vs. the cheaper version. This definitely adds leather to the car, just not sure how much/differently than clicking other options. Trying to see differences in configurator, not clear...
