Hello everyone. In the last day I was emailed by three dealerships that each has an allocation for a GT3 November or December build. They are International Porsche (Milwaukee, WI), Porsche of Farmington Hills (MI) and Wichita Luxury Collection (KS). I have no relationship with any of these dealerships.

Largest volume dealer in US past 25 years. No surprise they get 15 allocations.

Although I'm not surprised that the largest dealer would get 15 allocations, I think he means MY15 allocations are available. Why would a dealer give the exact number of allocations that they have? He could just say "we have (several) allocations available".

^ yep, seems to be a good way to get a bunch of discount seekers calling to announce the number of slots. I read it as MY15 as well.

I was at my dealer today getting my order finalized and locked with commission number and thankfully have a late nov build with sport buckets.....Porsche pumped in a bunch of additional allocated build slots for Nov/Dec to dealers yesterday. Should be easier to secure a GT3 before production stops so anyone that has not had any luck before might want to make another run. Can't imagine it would be hard to find a Nov/Dec build date now at MSRP.

I just want to add my experience. It does indeed appear there is more "demand" than reality. I only put down my name on multiple dealer lists about 1.5 months ago, and today I got an allocation (near where I live too). On one list I went from #14 to #2 already, and I am #1 on another-- of course these are just per the dealer. I think there's just a lot of people on multiple lists and dealers are hyping up the demand. Allocations seem to be coming out quite often now. Good luck to anyone else waiting, I think it's just a matter of time, and from what everyone has said, it is worth the wait.

Pretty sure Champion is not the largest dealer, although certainly ONE of the biggest. But that's a distinction without difference. I would be shocked if that is 15 NEW allocations for 2015. Maybe 15 total. That would make sense.

I think there has been considerable planning by Porsche managing allocation assignment to maximize the impression of scarcity. I now doubt that any serious buyer will be left without a car.

I'm not sure what Champion got but I heard a number of 20+ additional GT3 allocations just to Florida Porsche stores in past 48 hours....there could be a total of more than 100 additional across country?
