Thanks. As opposed to the attachments i assume you can just use the standard clips like on typical jumper cables.

So far all three outlets dont stay active after 15 mins. Trying locking doors.

The a trek is what Ferrari provides with theirs. I have had to replace several. I have had better luck with Battery tenders.

Yes, but the other attachments are more secure, and once you have it setup like Mike, you simply open the hood and plug in. I use the clips on my 964' as the terminal attachment is wider than my 996tt. The Ctek comes with both types.

If you don't have the smoking package option, where do you plug the trickle charger into?

Thanks.

^Also interested but there has to be one because they make a freakin trickle charger for the car

Did some one also mention that their GT3 did not seem to lose much battery life after sitting for quite some time? Almost like the car goes in to "power saving" type of mode.

It does go into power saving mode. Even the sport chrono clock shuts down after a few minutes and returns to the correct time each time you open the door. Still there are some systems that always stay active and over time will wear down the battery. A trickle charger is still a good idea.
