Default Running the curbs on track

For you guys who have and are tracking, have you had any issues when apexing the curbs? I ordered the lift with mine but obviously it won't be lifted on the track. Seems like on the bigger curbs it could be an issue. Do you get a sense of how big of a curb you can clip without it doing some serious damage?

I have a GT3 RS that is lower than a 991 GT3. I have no issues with clipping the "curbs" even at COTA. You should be fine.

I was told at Barber that running the curbs would eventually knock the car out of alignment.

Possibly -> naturally. Real question is will your track tires last that long?

I eat curbs in my lowered 997 all day long.
Thanks to my custom suspension the alignment stays true and I soak up the bumps with ease.

Realistically, in a stock car you can cause excessive wear on your suspension bits and it can throw off your alignment.
Grip is limited on curbs as well.

Running curbs is encouraged when appropriate, but I would think that a curb high enough to do damage to the front lip would also be too high to run without upsetting the car's balance.
