'15 Allocation Available
Just wanted to let you guys know of an allocation which is available to spec at MSRP. It's a December build with February-March delivery. That means buckets can be added! One caveat is that the dealership only takes orders in person. Location is Porsche of Arlington (Virginia). Please ask for Nick Segedi. In the time that I interacted with him, he was very pleasant and a complete gentleman.
I have no affiliation with the dealership. I was about the pull the trigger on this spot but another dealership was able to get me an earlier build which is why I passed.

So, no waiting list to be passed on to? Strange, especially for one of the most cash-rich towns in the country (Wash DC).

I am taking delivery of a GT3 from Arlington in January. The larger dealers in the area, ie HBL, have long waiting lists. I guess people don't call around often to the smaller dealers or they would find a car.

Hey man - I would not trust a dealer who I never visited who took my order on the phone for a GT3. I think for both parties involved better to do it person. Heck - I laid a $120,000 deposit last July on my "trade in" and just got the car until last Sat. I think this is legit and fair

Actually, I'm not sure that a non-refundable deposit is even legal. In most states you have 3 days to unwind a vehicle sale and get a full refund, so I don't see how a dealer could keep a deposit.

FWIW, I've had a deposit w/ Porsche of Arlington since May of 2013. I put a 10% deposit down over a year ago and am told that I'm there #1 on their GT3 list. They've been fine to deal with and my GT3 actually hits the production line tomorrow Aug 29th after a long wait. They never asked me to come there in person, but I had a connection with the dealer through a friend in the area. This is when all of the dealers I knew in Boston & Atlanta (where I lived and now live, respectively) wouldn't give me any guarantee on an allocation at MSRP.

I think a dealer in another state would bump you deposit or not if one of their best customers wanted the car.

$15k non refundable. No way.

Agree no way on non refundable. What happens if dealer does not deliver the gt3? Good luck getting your money back without a lawyer or with the sales contract stating if dealer can't deliver the car by x date all money refunded.
