Thanks for posting, Spartan. Looks badass with the E07’s! Looking forward to your feedback, especially on the Hoosiers.

Thanks for posting. Great info. Can you tell us more about the seat and harness mounting? If I understand, you are using Recaro sliders and seat brackets for a 997 but they fit ok in the 991? Also for the sub belts are you using a sub bar? which one? For the lap belts where do you mount? and are you keeping the tunnel side 3 point receptacle? In the past Ive used either the GT3 specific Schroth harness or the B-K mounting hardware that attaches to the factory lap belt points with clip in Schroth Profi II. Interested to know what works in the 991 GT3. Thanks again!

I'm using 996 sliders on 997 bk conversion brackets. I did fit the recaro sliders but prefer the 996 as you can offset the drivers seat in board so the gas pedal is lined up properly. I'm using the 996 bk sub bars. If I had to start from scratch I would use 997 cup sliders and call it a day. After this event I'm have custom stuff done to fit the new FIA rated recaro sliders. Using he scroth enduro harnesses for both seats. Best and most easily adjustable harness on the market IMO

Front is standard 997 gt3 shims which you can get from PET. Rears are from motorsports and I don't have them handy but can get them. You can't even get the manual or parts book for a 991 cup unless you have the vin and are listed in the Motorsport database! Let me get through this weekend and I can post them up next week.

Brilliant solution with the LCA bolt.

I had similar issues with my GMG rollbar. Went with it because, of the three commonly available rollbars for the 991, it seems to be the best design and best built. But my shop took several hours to file, grind, adjust the bar to get it installed just right. It was in and out of the car three times.

+1!
Spartan's Dad was driving the 991 GT3 beast. Did you see/hear Spartan's ride? UNBELIEVABLE!

Spartan, 2 questions:
-stock exhaust on the 991 GT3?
-is that Anthracite trim in the cabin?
thx!
