Default More conjecture on 2015 991 GT3 Allocations, or lack thereof

So the latest rumor on the 991 911 facelift has the pundits saying that the new 911 GTS will bow at the LA Auto Show in November 2014, with the chassis codenamed "992" (as opposed to 991.2).

So maybe there will be no new 2015 991 allocations for the GT3, and after Feb. 2015, all the GT3 allocations will be based on this new "992" chassis?

Just more food for thought.

My dealer is saying that PCNA has said that the 2015 GT3 production will be a "limited run," whatever that means...

But does that at least mean that allocations will continue well into 2015?

Will the GTS have the manual tranny option?

Yes, I know. I never give up.

The first step is being able to recognize that you have a problem.

Just giving you a bad time....sorry, couldn't resist.....

I prescribe a daily dose of 991 GT3 immediately, at least 3 hours of driving per day with Track days every other weekend but you must quit manual transmissions immediately. Yes I mean cold turkey.......it's the only way I'm afraid. Other wise......you could......die!!!! from slow lap times of course.

The GTS should come in a manual option. I think with a 450 HP it will be a very cool street car

But - now you will have a dilemma - Cayman GT4 or 911 GTS????

There is an *** for every seat so Porsche will sell them and we, as consumers, will have choices.

I got a Nov build confirmed 10d ago. I requested PTS and PCNA (Atlanta) moved the build to Feb 2015 since there were no more PTS slots available in 2014. End of last week Porsche Germany tells PCNA no more GT3 builds after Dec 14 and moves my car back to Nov production and cancels my PTS. If production were not stopping why not paint my car the color I want and take my $5500?

Maybe both. One for each cheek.

Wouldn't it be funny if I bought a used Cup car, and put paddles in it. You guys would kill me.
